Coldesi is an on-demand printing and customization platform that partners with retailers and manufacturers to bring custom-decorated apparel and soft goods to market. The company serves leading brands (Vera Bradley, TaylorMade, Volcom) alongside independent creators, and wanted to reach Shopify merchants who needed on-demand capabilities without building custom infrastructure. Clickwear app was their answer.

The Solution We Delivered

App Installation and Authentication

Merchants install Clickwear directly from the Shopify App Store. OAuth handles authentication automatically, giving merchants immediate access to Coldesi's full product catalog. The app presents blank products (t-shirts, hoodies, hats, and more) that merchants can customize with their own artwork and designs before publishing to their storefront.

Product Configurator

The configurator is built on React Fabric, a JavaScript rendering library that gives merchants real-time design control. Merchants upload artwork, add text, and adjust sizing and placement directly in the browser. The configurator supports layered designs and handles color and material variations automatically across all product types.

Asset Management

When a merchant finalizes a product, the configuration and artwork are stored in Cloudinary, a cloud-based asset management platform. Cloudinary versions every asset automatically, so Coldesi's production team can retrieve the exact design files for each order without searching through unversioned uploads or manually tracking file changes.

Order Tracking and Commission Management

Shopify webhooks track order creation, updates, and completion in real time, keeping the app in sync with Coldesi's order management system. Commission tracking calculates merchant payouts by volume and variant. Merchants access a dedicated order portal showing live fulfillment status and shipping updates. No manual intervention required.
