The no-hassle apps for iOS and Android bring a mobile-first approach to virtual meetings by using mobile and web technology to simplify the preparation, attendance and follow-up actions for meetings, especially participants calling in from remote locations or during travel.
Folio3 developed MeetingMogul’s call connection platform for clients, whose executives, employees, contractors and partners regularly participate in multiple meetings from a variety of services. This includes those who travel internationally where calling into a conference bridge may be subject to the high cost of mobile roaming.
Jaguar Land Rover was looking for an app that would allow its customers to connect to conference calls while driving and sync with their in-car console.
Jaguar Land Rover’s InContol Apps presents an interactive set of apps that enable media streaming, cloud and location based services and more – via a USB port.
InControl is a natural language voice driven app created for Jaguar Land Rover vehicles and is able to access calendars, contacts, media, news and navigation with traffic, parking and access to restaurants etc. Once connected to your smartphone, InControl Apps can be controlled from the vehicles Touchscreen. InControl Apps is available on most Android and iOS smartphones.
Jaguar Land Rover approached Folio3 due to MeetingMogul’s popularity as the go to one-touch conference calling app in the market.
After analyzing the requirements, Folio3 assigned a dedicated development team to work on making MeetingMogul compatible with Jaguar Land Rover’s in-car console.
The project is currently in its finalization and some enhancements are being added to ensure support for both iOS and Android platforms.
Apart from mobile technologies for iOS and Android, we have used the MySpin SDK that is developed by Jaguar’s technology partner to integrate with the in-car console.
All of the above took 3 to 4 months to develop, using the SCRUM agile software development process.
